DEBORAH ODELL has appeared in dozens of TV series and was most recently
seen in the premiere episode of The Dresden Files, guest-starring as the
supernatural villain Ms. Timmons. She will next be seen on the upcoming
series, The Best Years, playing a university professor who becomes
romantically involved with one of her students. Other recent TV
performances include CBC pilots MVP and Left Coast, and guest starring on Kevin
Hill, Zoe Busiek: Wild Card, and CBC's An American in Canada and Ken
Finkleman's At The Hotel. Odell was also a series regular
on Higher Ground and Eerie Indiana: The Next Generation.
Her feature credits include working with Robert DeNiro and Greg Kinnear in Godsend; with Jon Voight in Jasper Texas; and with Mercedes Ruehl in Guilt By Association. Movies for television include appearing with Marcia Gay Harden in She's Too Young and with Aidan Quinn in Mayday.
Deborah has also voiced many characters in animation shows, including Sparks on Ace Lightning, and Ariel Flyer on The Rescue Heroes.
Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Deborah was raised in Mississauga. She studied English at the University of Western Ontario, and began her career singing.
Her first professional gig was as a back up singer for Julio Iglesias on a world tour. She went on to play Pearl in the German production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express. She currently resides in Toronto.
